Jeanne M. DeVincenziJEANNE M. DEVINCENZI is a real estate and business lawyer whose practice focuses on the wine industry. Ms. DeVincenzi advises a broad range of clients such as family-owned wineries and vineyards, entrepreneurs, and private and public businesses. She frequently represents clients in connection with the purchase and sale of wineries and vineyards and has significant experience structuring transactions, negotiating terms, and guiding clients through the complex land use, alcohol beverage, real estate and corporate due diligence issues presented in such transactions. She also regularly assists her clients with financing matters, vineyard leases, grape purchase contracts, broker and distribution agreements, employment agreements, alcoholic beverage regulation issues, and the formation and operation of joint ventures, limited liability companies, partnerships, and corporations.

Notable transactions in the wine industry in which Ms. DeVincenzi was actively engaged include the acquisition of Viansa Winery & Italian Marketplace, Chimney Rock Winery and Ravenswood Winery and the sale of Edgewood Estate Winery, Pacific Echo Winery, Stonegate Winery and Matanzas Creek Winery.

Ms. DeVincenzi was born and raised near Chicago, Illinois and received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois and her law degree, magna cum laude, from Loyola University Chicago. Ms. DeVincenzi began her legal practice at Altheimer & Gray in Chicago. Subsequently she joined the San Francisco-based firm of Farella Braun + Martel, where she worked for eight years, six of them in the firm's St. Helena office.

Ms. DeVincenzi lives in St. Helena with her husband and three daughters.
